Clinical studies of intense pulsed light

In order to prove the safety and effectiveness of DERMEO’s cosmetic and medical devices, a clinical study was officially carried out by the Group for Research and Evaluation in Dermatology and Cosmetology (GREDECO) on volunteers recruited from the hospital Pitié-Salpêtrière in Paris. Over twelve months, researchers, dermatologists and doctors performed tests on all applications of the MEDIFLASH device, namely,

treatment of hair removal, rejuvenation, pigmented lesions, vascular lesions and acne. Successful results were obtained that were highly satisfactory for all indications treated for both the patient and the practitioner.

Clinical studies of cavitation

A clinical study was conducted by Jean-Pierre Trémel (clinical research associate), and Dr. Julia Valdman of the DERMEO CAVIFAST device. Performed on 15 volunteer patients, it demonstrated visible results which were very good from the first session. Each patient treated, aged between 20 and 67 years old, had a very good tolerance to ultrasound technology of cavitational effect, and a loss in inches was measured from the first treatment.
